MANILA – A fisherman caught a crocodile measuring about six feet while he was fishing in Malinao River in Barangay Panacan, Narra, Palawan.
The crocodile, captured by a fisherman identified only as Rizaldo, was brought to the barangay hall where it was examined by the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development and Katala Foundation.
They said the crocodile is healthy and has a high chance of surviving in a crocodile farm.
Residents, meanwhile, fear that there are still other crocodiles in the river.
Authorities advised residents not to go near the area where the six-foot crocodile was captured. — Report from Edinel Magtibay, ABS-CBN News Palawan
