Palawan first for Azamara Quest


Manila: Azamara Club Cruises’ ship Azamara Quest called at the port of Puerto Princesa on the western island of Palawan in the Philippines for the first time yesterday. The ship is on a 16-night voyage starting from Bali which features an overnight stay in Manila, and calls at other Asian destinations namely Komodo, Sandakan, Hualien, Naha and ending in Osaka with a double overnight.

Marilen Sandejas-Yaptangco, Royal Caribbean International’s representative in the Philippines said, “Puerto Princesa is rising in popularity among tourists in recent years and we are proud to add it to Azamara Quest’ Asian itineraries. This will give our international guests more ways to discover this country. Our successful call today is also the result of the strong support of the local government which marks a positive step in cruise development for the country.
